relaxation... clarity of mind... better health... self awareness...
Dear [First Name],
Welcome to the second edition of Meditation Made Easy. This month we'll keep it short. Just the stuff you can use to keep calm and relaxed right now.

Mindfulness Tips

It's quite easy to go through a day, particularly a stressful one, without remembering to meditate at all. This means that unnecessary tension accumulates in the body - and you end up tired, irritable and unable to perform anywhere near your best.

However, it only takes a couple of days to set up a habit that can trigger the relaxation response - and such a habit can stop stress in its tracks.

Do this for the next three days. Take note of the shop and traffic signs, billboards and posters on your way to work. Whenever you see the letter 'I' in blue take a moment to bring your attention to your eyes, and the muscles around and behind them. This area is often unnecessarily tense. By bringing our attention to our eyes we can let go of some of this tension, slow down for a moment or two, and simultaneously escape the repetitive thought patterns which often accompany and contribute to a tight musculature.
