This first CD presents meditation as simple, practical skill. The six tracks can be used for a variety of purposes (e.g. relieving anxiety, calming the mind, combatting stress, relaxing the body and coping with pain) and they're presented in a clear, jargon-free style, without the ideological and cultural trappings that so often make it difficult to access the deepest and healthiest aspects of meditation. Listeners may find that they drop into a state of relaxation and mental clarity rarely experienced and that meditation becomes an enjoyable pastime.
